Since the projectâs inception, Bobcat Attack has continuously evolved in form, moving through ambient, dub, and techno without settling into any one shape for too long. It feels natural that the current habitat holds all of these modes at once, coursing through modular synths, elektron boxes, and drum machines. Beneath a glaze of drifting drones and cavernous reverb, sharp chord stabs and pulsing 909 kicks emerge, traces of dub and post-rock echoing through the circuitry.
Bobcat Attack operates like a subtle machinist, tending a quiet conveyor of soundâprocessing and reprocessing the same signals until they mutate. With each pass, something shifts. Patterns stretch, collapse, and regrow with new limbs. The music can pull your body into motion or dissolve you into its atmosphere, but either way, youâre inside it.
Alongside their sonic work, Bobcat Attack is a visual artist shaping live-concert visuals and graphic design. Those same sensibilities carry through into the design and musicâ loops treated like light, textures layered with a designerâs eye, motion unfolding in slow, deliberate frames. Whether projecting abstract forms behind a stage or building compositions on a screen, the same instinct applies: repetition as transformation, minimal elements pushed to the point of becoming immersive environments.
